The UIC Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applicants for the Assistant Athletic Trainer position to join our team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the evaluation and assessment of injuries and illness, administer treatment and provides care, prevention, and rehabilitative services for student-athletes. Additionally, provide practice and competitive event coverage. Duties & Responsibilities •Administer treatment and provide post-surgery rehabilitation of injuries. •Instruct athletes on injury prevention. •Administer game and practice activities including taping and stretching of athletes. •Provide medical coverage of athletic games and practices. Assess injuries and give treatment.
