Under the general direction of the associate director, athletics the incumbent is responsible for student athletes academic support services, serving as the liaison between Recreation and Athletics and academic advisors in the Bobcat Advising Center and major advisors in their respective schools. In addition to supporting student athletes once enrolled, the assistant director will work with head coaches and the associate director, athletics to provide support to coaches and prospective student athletes during the admissions process. The incumbent will serve as the primary liaison between Recreation and Athletics and the Office of Admissions and will be responsible for managing the Athletic Admissions Policy.
