The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Director to help lead and manage the Creative Video team, overseeing creative content for videos produced for all social media platforms, video boards, promotional videos, highlight videos, feature stores, and other creative assets. Collaborates with Marketing, Communications, and the Creative Media & Branding team to create storytelling opportunities for all Florida varsity programs and to create content that is on-brand and best highlights the Florida Gators. Generates new and relevant ideas for engaging content in an ever-changing media landscape, and supports revenue generating efforts through creative content. This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Telecommunications, Broadcasting, or a related field
Four years of related experience
One year of supervisory experience
Valid driver’s license
Creative, motivated, hard-working individual
Ability to shoot with a variety of cameras and edit with non-linear software (including Adobe Production Suite)
Ability to exercise sound judgement
Ability to create innovative and engaging content
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds and with high energy, intense personalities
Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive overnight travel
