Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a competitive program in alignment with the athletic department's vision.
• Create and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, meeting or exceeding annual recruitment goals.
• Maintain or exceed optimal roster size annually.
• Support compliance efforts, monitor academic success, and contribute to the personal growth of student-athletes.
• Prepare and manage a fiscally responsible program with an annual balanced budget.
• Effectively teach individual skills, team concepts, and competitive values.
• Plan and execute practice, conditioning, strength sessions, and game plans.
• Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship, and mature conduct as the head coach.
• Support annual fundraising and alumni outreach in collaboration with the Director of Athletics and Office of Development.
• Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and college rules and regulations.
• Coordinate the hiring, training, and mentoring of assistant coaches.
• Attend necessary training and meetings to support effectiveness within the position.
• Uphold high standards of integrity in alignment with Keuka College's mission, vision, and values.
• Maintain a high regard for student privacy in accordance with FERPA privacy policies.
• Ensure regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
• At least two years of coaching or playing experience is preferred.
• Must have time management flexibility and be able to sustain long work hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Understand and uphold a high level of integrity and complete confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to be sensitive to and respond to the needs and concerns of all constituents of the College.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions and collaborate with diverse groups of people.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work on your feet for an extended period.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
