Assistant Track and Field Coach (throws)
The assistant coach is responsible for supporting all aspects of competitive NCAA Division III indoor and outdoor track and field programs, while also assisting with cross country. The assistant coach assists the head coaches in student recruitment and retention; coaches student athletes and fosters their skill development; assists in coaching plans and implementation at practices and competitions; provides for students’ safety, health and wellbeing; complies with NCAA, UMAC and university policies; provides sound fiscal management; assists in equipment oversight, scheduling, travel planning, and summer camps; assists in off-season programs and athlete development; and assists in program communication and fundraising efforts with the Head Coach.
