Under the general supervision of the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development, this position is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy of programs and efforts to increase philanthropic support for the Ram Club, to sell and promote the sale of premium tickets for Colorado State University Athletics events, and to develop general engagement activities for alumni and the community with a focus on cultivating major gifts.

•Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, liberal arts, sciences, non-profit management/public administration or related field. •Minimum of three years of full-time progressive, results-oriented professional experience in sales/fundraising/marketing or related work experience, preferably in an intercollegiate athletics department and/or university/higher education environment •Demonstrated skill in developing and achieving sales/fundraising oriented goals •Demonstrated ability to work successfully with internal and external constituencies •Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and oral/written/electronic communication skills •Development or related experience, preferably at a NCAA Division I member institution •Understanding of higher education and university operations •Proven ability as self-starter and problem solver •Proficiency with technology and social media to enhance efficiency •Proven ability to relate well to coaches, student-athletes, donors and other constituency groups •Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date
