The Athletic training staff is responsible for the medical care for varsity student-athletes. This position will function as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for assigned sports and will act as a liaison between physicians, administrators, coaches, student-athletes and parents for those sports assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. This position, which is mission critical, is essential to ensuring that our student-athletes are receiving the best care possible. This care will be consistent within the scope of practice defined by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), along with NCAA guidelines.
