PRIMARY DUTY: This position will serve as Deputy Director of Athletics for Student Services & Compliance / Senior Administrator for the department of Athletics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Serves as the institutional representative to the NCAA and MIAA Is responsible for the compliance program as required by the NCAA and MIAA Serves on the athletics management team as the senior administrator Works closely with the Director of Athletics to evaluate coaches and sport programs within the department Serves as staff liaison to the student-athlete advisory committee and oversees the areas of student services within the athletics department Assists in events management and staff supervision as assigned by the Director of Athletics Assists with public relations and special events as assigned by the Director of Athletics Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
Education: Bachelor’s degree Experience: Experience in intercollegiate athletics as a coach or administrator Skills: Basic computer skills enabling the professional to utilize NCAA compliance software; strong human relations skills; desire to be of service to students and staff members
