Responsible for planning, set-up, operation, and breakdown of all athletic events. Work with all game operation stakeholders (e.g., sport coaching staff, external relations, security, media production staff) to ensure game operation needs are understood and devise an agreed upon planned approached to meeting those needs. Responsible for managing the game day operation budget for all athletic events. Responsible for determining personnel requirements for game day athletic events and organizing resources within the athletic game day budget. Responsible for supervision of staff and external contract companies required to execute athletic game day functions, which can be in excess of 100 people on certain game days. Responsible for assisting visiting teams and officials with travel, practice and game day operation logistics associated with athletic events. Direct reporting supervision of Game Operations / Facilities Assistant (position #172469). Oversight of athletic facility scheduling. Oversight of athletic facility maintenance projects which includes project budget management.
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
