The assistant coach is responsible for supporting the launch of a competitive NCAA Division III new men’s swimming and diving program while continuing to support all aspects of the current women’s swimming and diving program - while advancing the mission of intercollegiate athletics and the University. The assistant coach assists the head coaches in student recruitment and retention; coaches student athletes and fosters their skill development; assists in coaching plans and implementation at practices and competitions; provides for students’ safety, health and wellbeing; complies with NCAA, UMAC and university policies; provides sound fiscal management; assists in equipment oversight, scheduling, travel planning, and summer camps; assists in off-season programs and athlete development; and
