The Director of Sports Performance will cultivate an environment that supports team cohesion between sports medicine, coaches, and sports performance staff. Develop and implement sports performance programs for all UNG student-athletes to enhance their strength, power, speed, and agility.
Develops and administers the overall sports performance program for the UNG Athletic Department using a holistic and systemic approach.
Works seamlessly with sports medicine department to ensure best development of all student-athletes.
Develops, supervises and places into operation appropriate rules and regulations governing the performance facility.
Educates and directs student-athletes and coaches on the proper techniques and safety standards of appropriate strength and conditioning best practices.
Manages master schedule for the athletic performance facility
