60% Coaching: Assists the Head Diving Coach in all aspects of coaching. This includes preparation of training plans, technical feedback, video analysis, and goal-setting. The Graduate Assistant will also be responsible for taking over coaching duties when the Head Diving Coach is required to travel with a partial team.
30% Video capture and data tracking: Assists the Head Diving Coach with video capture from training sessions and competition. The Graduate Assistant is responsible for the organization and dissemination of video to the athletes. The Graduate Assistant will also help track and record relevant performance data throughout the season.
5% Recruiting: Helps coordinate logistics and sets academic appointments for visiting prospective student-athletes.
5% Logistics: Works with the Coordinator of Operations and Swimming and Diving coaching staff during home and travel competitions to fulfill team logistics needs.
Salary: This is a graduate scholarship position; benefits are not included. Scholarship includes tuition, fees, required books, and a cash stipend each semester.
Position Information: This position is a two-year commitment, subject to renewal after one year at the discretion of the athletic department. Anticipated start date is August 2023.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Acceptance into LSU Graduate School. Must possess knowledge and ability to adhere to policies and procedures of LSU Athletics, Louisiana State University, the SEC and the NCAA.
Preferred Qualifications: 4 years experience as an NCAA Division I student-athlete. 2 years of coaching experience at any level.
