The Director of Player Personnel will manage and coordinate the prospective student-athlete recruitment process for the varsity football program. The Director of Player Personnel will also provide general organizational and administrative support to the varsity football program.
Responsibilities;
Manage overall recruiting database
Create recruiting protocols used to identify and grade potential recruits.
Assist with management of all social media.
Evaluate recruiting tape from prospective high school athletes.
Oversee recruiting data entry and distribute to football coaching staff.
Assist with football summer camp logistics.
Manage Columbia Football recruiting board.
Comply call list to be distributed to football coaching staff.
Oversee chain of command for film evaluation between area coach to position coach to coordinator and head coach
Coordinate procurement of recruiting services in each area or state
Exhibiting the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Council of Ivy League Presidents, University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Director, Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education and Head Football Coach.
Contributing to the maintenance of good working relationships with all members of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required.
Minimum 0-2 year's experience in football or athletics related field, preferably at the collegiate level.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Proven ability to develop, establish and sustain relationships.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Council of Ivy League Presidents, University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations.
Successful background in intercollegiate athletics as a student-athlete or administrator.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, alumni and the public.
Ability to work within the frame work of NCAA and Ivy League regulations.
