The Senior Associate Athletics Director for Revenue Generation/Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) serves as a member of the Athletics Department senior leadership team, as the Chief Revenue Officer for Athletics, leads a comprehensive revenue generation program, and manages all aspects of the fundraising programs for Athletics. The incumbent oversees sponsorships, ticketing, Name Image Likeness (NIL), and alumni relations, and is responsible for the strategic development and execution of initiatives within these areas.
Collaborates with University Relations & Advancement on Athletics-related fund development and marketing activities. Serves as the sport administrator for select sports, hires, supervises, mentors, and evaluates direct reports and staff within areas of oversight. Works as a team-oriented strategist able to effectively manage complex situations involving numerous and sometimes competing constituencies. As a leader, demonstrates a commitment to student success that is mission aligned with the university’s vision, values and priorities. Establishes an ethical and collegial work environment, promoting a collaborative, accountable and inclusive team. Encourages a courageous and resilient solution-oriented environment by participating in new opportunities to further the mission of the university. Participates in developing initiatives that further support the campus mission with a service-oriented and catalytic mind set. Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a job-related field.
Equivalent to five (5) years of experience as a head coach or administrator in intercollegiate athletics; with three of the five years in a supervisory or management role desired.
