Gross monthly stipend of $1,300 + Kansas Athletics will pay for tuition and required course textbooks and associated fees.

Kansas Athletics is seeking a Graduate Assistant to join the Marketing team! The Graduate Assistance will perform assigned duties and projects in various areas of Marketing and Fan Experience including, but not limited to, assisting with game day operations and activities, developing marketing and promotional plans, assisting with community relations efforts and numerous office responsibilities. The position works closely with a team of administrators, professional staff, and other graduate students. Graduate Assistant positions are normally two years terms and currently receive a monthly stipend and payment of tuition, fees, and required course textbooks.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university;
Acceptance and continued enrollment in a graduate program at the University of Kansas;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills;
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, and great attention to detail;
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment;
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed;
Ability to maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or related academic field;
Experience working in an intercollegiate athletic marketing or fan experience department;
General knowledge of all Big XII and NCAA guidelines related to marketing, fan experience and game management;
Former collegiate student-athlete;
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
