The University of Arizona’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking an experienced sports marketing professional for the position of Director of Game Presentation and Fan Engagement. This position will be responsible for leading game presentation and fan engagement efforts with a primary focus in football and baseball.
The successful candidate must be a proven leader, team-oriented, highly motivated, a self-starter and organized. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement. Candidates should expect to work evenings, weekends and some holidays based on sport competition schedules.

Coordinate the implementation of game presentation and fan engagement initiatives for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including, but not limited to the following:
Lead three full-time marketing and fan engagement staff members who will oversee separate sports. Serve as the game presentation and fan engagement lead for Football and Baseball. Direct football game presentation including, but not limited to, scripting, collaboration between band, cheer, music, and DJ, build new traditions, pregame and halftime shows, ZonaZoo student engagement, LIMG sports sponsorship activation, develop and enhance theme games and community engagement. Serve as lead for spring football initiatives. Development and implement marketing plan for baseball; review and evaluate plan after each season. Assist the three full-time marketing and fan engagement members with development of marketing plans for their assigned sports. Assist Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing with development of marketing plan for football. Plan and execute Season Ticket Holder events for assigned sports. Maintain production schedule of promotional materials including posters, pocket schedules. Collaborate with Marketing and Advertising team to assist with marketing and advertising efforts. Work with ticket sales department to develop revenue and attendance generation strategies for assigned sports. Communicate regularly with head coach of assigned sports (or an appointed staff member such as a Director of Operations). Responsible for communicating pertinent marketing information internally to ICA staff Management of budget for assigned sports. Assist with the planning and implementation of special event marketing, such as pep rallies, meet the team events and the Arizona Road Tour. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Minimum of 8 years of work experience required
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
