Coordinate and deliver athletic training services to assigned teams that include pre-season physicals, evaluation and treatment of injuries at practices and games, design and supervision of rehabilitation programs, pre-actice/game taping. Refer cadet-athletes to appropriate physician according to accepted guidelines. Communicate effectively with Head Athletic Trainer, coaches, parents, military personnel and physicians in matters of cadet health and safety. Provide education and instruction to cadet-athletes on prevention and care of musculoskeletal injuries. Implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with strength staff. Maintain proper records of injuries, treatment, rehabilitation and exposure. Takes on additional responsibility at the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, Associate Head, Senior Associate, Head Football Athletic Trainer and Associate Athletic Trainers.

Employee will be proficient in injury prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning, organization administration and professional responsibility.
License required include National Athletic Trainers Association, Board of Certification, NY State Board of Education License, CPR & AED certification, Valid NY State Drivers License
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and injury tracking software.
