The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics department encourages applications for an Associate Director of Compliance! In this role, you will Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Office of Compliance Services to ensure a comprehensive compliance program covering NCAA, Pac-12 Conference, and Institutional rules and regulations with a focus on student-athlete education, participation, and engagement. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
Roster Management: Maintain JumpForward and TeamWorks rostering systems.
Host roster meetings to ensure roster accuracy, including The Office of Financial Aid, Herbst Academic Center and the Registrar's Office.
Provide student-athlete meal, housing, Alston, ticket, etc. rosters to entire athletic department.
Build and maintain annual participation reports to track years of eligibility, financial aid and seasons of competition.
Monitor and track student-athlete annual awards, outside participation, Olympic participation. Serve as OCS Transfer Portal Liaison. Assist Senior Administrator in completing annual NCAA sport sponsorship and demographics report and EADA reporting.
Rules Education: Maintain and continually develop the comprehensive NCAA rules education program for CU-Boulder student-athletes, departmental staff members, CU donors, and campus constituents, at the direction of the Associate AD for Compliance.
Distribute educational information via newsletters, social media, presentations and other creative outlets. Coordinate game day educational efforts, implement a distribution plan for CU's facilities targeting those fans and donors in attendance.
Implement a Championship and Bowl Season rules education and monitoring program. Build the Office of Compliance Services relationships with donors and expand the educational outreach for that group. Apply NCAA legislative knowledge to build new educational materials and presentations. Train student intern and supervise during rules education distribution.
Camps and Clinics:
Serve as the Office of Compliance Services approval for institutional and noninstitutional camps and clinics. Work closely with the Director of Camps and Special Projects.
Elite Student-Athletes:
Serve as the OCS Liaison to Elite Student-Athletes.
Proactively engage student-athletes and educate on expense opportunities within NCAA legislation.
Monitor agnt interactions and student-athlete disability insurance.
Waivers and Violations:
Draft NCAA Waivers, Pac-12 Petitions and Violation Reports.
Other Responsibilities:
Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.

What We Require
Bachelor’s Degree.
A minimum of three years of compliance experience at a higher education institution, at the national headquarters, or a conference office.
Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules in the area of student-athlete participation. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
What You Will Need
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to ensure compliance with NCAA applications and academic integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, driven by service with a proven attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with NCAA Applications.
What We Would Like You to Have
Master’s Degree, five years of compliance experience at a Division I, FBS institution, at the national headquarters, or a conference office.
Experience working in high pressure situations and collaboration with coaches, campus colleagues and external constituents.
Significant experience in working with NCAA Bylaws.
