Perform a variety of administrative tasks and functions pertaining to daily office operations of the university's NCAA Division I Football program. Duties include but not be limited to: Organize, coordinate and perform administrative office duties to assist the Head Coach and 10 assistant coaches, Graduate Assistants and/or Analyst as well as the Coordinator of Player Relations and the Recruiting Operations Coordinator in implementing office procedures and programs for the football programs and their offices. Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to members of the football coaching staff programs; prepare payment authorization for purchases for football and the strength and conditioning programs, maintenance of recruiting files and performs other administrative tasks associated daily operations of the NCAA Division I football program. Coordinate and produce written correspondence for the sports programs and their recruiting, travel, roster management; assist the Coordinator of Operations and head coaches in planning, organizing, and coordinating recruiting and donor events and programs; receive incoming phone calls and provide information; attend and supervise special recruiting programs/events. Work home and away game day events as assigned and travel in advance of team to away contest to assist the Coordinator of Player Relations to secure and set up the hotel for team meals, team meetings and film and taping areas associated with the away games. Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned by the Head Coach.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Note: A high school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) and five (5) years of progressively responsible secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience may be considered in lieu of the bachelor’s degree requirement.
Required Related Experience: One year of progressively responsible secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience required.
Desirable Related Experience: Prior experience working in an athletic department preferred.
