This position will be primarily responsible for the oversight of athletic ticket office sales and operations with an additional emphasis on securing revenue generation through merchandise sales and other events. The position will be responsible for managing the relationships with season ticket holders across all ticketed sports as well as serving as the point of contact to the department’s ticketing platform. Will assist in the marketing and promotions of the Drexel Division I varsity teams, coordinating special events under the guidance of the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations and Assistant Athletics Director for External Relations.
Facilitate all athletic competition and event ticket sales including group and season ticket packages.
Oversee sales of Hazem Maragah Suite and Blue & Gold Room for Men's and Women's Basketball games.
Develop relationships with external groups to increase ticket sales.
Maintains a high level of customer service to all season ticket holders and fans.
Create and execute strategies to maximize sales to local community groups and youth organizations.
Oversight of gameday ticket office staff.
Provide website management of ticketing platform and serve as main point of contact to ticketing partner.
Oversee merchandise for sale at the Dragon Shop and athletic merchandise stands, including maintaining inventory sheets and banks for each individual teams merchandise stand.
Oversee inventory, purchase and online store day to day contact.
Maintain an accurate spreadsheet of merchandise purchased to sell versus gross and net sales in each location (Dragon Shop, on-site game days, and shop.drexeldragons.com).
Assist and coordinate execution of a strategic marketing plan with particular emphasis on revenue sports; Gameday responsibilities at non-ticketed sports when required.
Assist Operations staff with student staff assignments and training.
Coordinate and/or assist in special events such as golf outings, school days, banquets fundraisers or department functions. Specific events to be determined.
Oversee the sale of tickets when hosting special events, i.e. CAA Tournaments, NCAA Tournaments, etc. Implement ticket strategies for outside events hosted by Drexel.
Other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, External Relations.
