Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is accepting applications for a Full-Time, benefited, 12-Month, Head Women’s Soccer Coach. This position is located in the athletics department and reports directly to the Athletic Director.
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach leads and is responsible for all aspects of EOU’s Women’s Soccer program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to building a successful program, recruitment, retention, and graduating of student-athletes; academic supervision, fundraising for both the women’s soccer program and the athletic department, budget management, supervising assistant coaches, developing and managing a competitive schedule, and organizing and conducting all practices. Must adhere to all rules and regulations of NAIA, and EOU. Expected to implement the NAIA Champions of Character Program within the program.
Intercollegiate athletics are integral to the overall educational experience at Eastern Oregon University. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach, will help carry out the University’s and department’s mission, goals, and objectives. Bachelor’s Degree in Coaching, Athletic Administration, Business, Education or closely related field.
Five (5) years of demonstrated success in building a successful program at the collegiate or varsity high school level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
First Aid/CPR Certified.
Mental Health First Aid Training.
Current and Valid Driver's license.
NAIA Champions of Character Coaching Course completed.
Must satisfactorily complete EOU criminal and credential background check. Having a criminal history is not an automatic bar to employment.
