Responsibilities The University of Akron, a Division 1 (FBS) NCAA institution and member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) is currently seeking applicants for an assistant softball coach. This position will provide assistance with recruiting and administrative functions of the Akron softball program. It provides instruction and coaching to student athletes while monitoring their academic and athletics development. Other primary responsibilities include: providing assistance with the planning and coaching activities as well as decision-making functions for all practices and games; providing assistance in recruiting highly skilled student athletes while initiating oral and written correspondence and evaluating prospects from high school teams and summer camps; performing various c
