GRAPHIC DESIGN/VIDEO RESPONSIBILITIES
Point Person for all Video Needs Related to Women's Basketball Responsible for providing all of the following needs for a successful Division I women's basketball program including but not limited to:
creation of quality game video that is available to Air Force and competing coaches immediately upon conclusion of every home game
be responsible for securing film at conclusion of every road game
uploading of coaches view game footage to Synergy immediately upon conclusion of every home game
creating edits from games as needed for head coach and assistants, including but not limited to; film for team viewing, edits for individual players, and edits for social media needs (working knowledge of photoshop and editing systems would need to be achieved)
limited filming and creating video of practice sessions
limited creation of edits from practice film as needed by head coach and assistants
Point Person for Successful Performance of all Recruiting/Scouting/Editing Services and Software
will work to resolve any issues that may come up with programs such as Synergy, FastScout, Scoutware
responsible for relationships with the support systems for software programs necessary to aid efforts and provide best pricing possible for USAFA
at request of assistant coaches, provide aid for production of scouting reports
Graphic Design Producer for USAFA Women's Basketball Website spots and Social Media Sites
will work in conjunction with Falcon Vision, WBB SID, and assistant coaches, to produce high quality film edits and graphic designs to be posted to our website before and after games. This includes game edits, and potential interviews with coaches, and/or players
will work with assistant coaches to produce video showcasing our team/players in many aspects of life away from the court to be used for social media sites
consistently make posts prior to games days that build interest in upcoming contests
DEVELOPMENT LIAISON RESPONSIBILITIES
Program point person for working with AFAAC Development Office in efforts to raise funds for Air Force Women's Basketball this could include:
developing relationships with alumnae and supporters of women's basketball
managing a women's basketball alumnae site on Facebook
representing women's basketball at events where potential donors may be present
leading efforts for implementation of outreach programs like alumnae weekend, Women of Influence Night, and Friends of Air Force Basketball events
producer and editor of Falcon women's basketball newsletters
ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES Office Support to Six Coaches (will include but not limited to)
preparation of expense reports for head coach
preparation of some expense reports for OR related to team travel
document preparation as needed
aid in production and distribution of large amounts of recruiting correspondence
monitor and order as needed, supplies for office
be responsible for booking and arranging of meeting locations
assist coaching staff with the organization and preparation for campus visits; the tracking of academic credentials for prospects and involvement in activities related to official and unofficial visits by prospects
responsible for the inputting of information into the Scoutware system; evaluations, new prospects, adding/changing of prospect information, and keeping Soutware up to date
work with coaching staff to develop itineraries for team travel
assist with meal planning and execution when team is on road trips
be lead person for the planning and execution of events sponsored by women's basketball including team banquet, team retreat, senior night, recruiting receptions, etc.
responsible for ordering and securing the supplement food from Mitchell Hall for team needs, every two weeks
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITES
provide liaison duties for women's basketball to other USAFA mission elements
be responsible for tracking and inputting daily activities of AFAAC contractors CA reports
assist with team welfare projects
keep office spaces tidy
potentially lead a Ball Girl/Boy program
assist coaches with information gathering
assist with execution of AF Sports Camp for girls basketball
other duties as assigned by head coach
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Demonstrated video shooting, editing and production skills;
· Experience participating, coaching or working in collegiate athletics at the Division I or II level is preferred.
· One to two years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends. This position will have work responsibilities around Air Force Women’s Basketball games, practice and events.
