Wright State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a Learning Specialist. The learning specialist ensures that student-athletes who are academically and/or behaviorally at-risk, or who have education-impacting disabilities, receive the academic support necessary for them to succeed in the classroom. The learning specialist supervises all Athletics Department peer-based academic services, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising all department tutors and study-tables monitors, and the learning specialist serves as department liaison to campus support services, such as the Academic Success Centers and the Office of Disability Services.
