Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervision of per diem trainers, student trainers, and student labor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in the following areas:

• Preparation/coverage of practices and games.
• Coordinator pre-participation exams/clearances with Health Services.
• Risk management, rehab. and prevention of athletic injuries.
• Help to prepare and maintain an annual budget and medical supplies inventory. Assist with the development of emergency action plans for all sports and multiple venues.
• Perform required record keeping for injury, treatment, and rehab notes on a daily/yearly basis.
• Manage the daily operations of the athletic training room.
• Limited travel, other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Current BOC certification
• Massachusetts Athletics Trainers Licensure
• First Aid, CPR and AED Certification Required
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to utilize computer functions and software such as web medical records
