The University of North Dakota Department of Athletics is currently recruiting for a Director of Video Content. The Director of Video Content is responsible for the design and execution of creative video content strategy across all channels and platforms for North Dakota Athletics. This position must have a commitment to compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations, must provide support and encouragement, and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure streams of all home games are working and ready to fix if/when needed.
Produce and is responsible for video streaming of games and special events
Crewing, equipment, set-up/strike, technology, connectivity, communication with platform.
Serve as the game day producer of video board production for events in The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center
Produce and responsible for pre-production elements.
Fulfill appropriate sponsorships.
Coordinate distribution to television master control and to webcast provider.
Maintain equipment.
Lead equipment and facility upgrades.
Shoot, edit, and produce video board elements for various events such as team introductions & fan engagement videos.
Shoot, edit, and produce feature videos such as Through These Doors and others.
Shoot, edit, and produce other projects as assigned, such as highlight videos, commercials, hype videos, banquet videos, etc.
Serve as point of contact for all streaming platforms.
Recommend capital purchases and equipment upgrades.
Direct supervision of the Assistant Director for Video Content.
Oversee student internship program.
Other duties as assigned by Assistant AD for Communications & Content.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree prior to start date.
Two (2) years of experience in professionally capturing video content.
Experience in performing video post-production.
Successful completion of Criminal History Background Check (CHBC).
Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communications, video production, or related field.
Three (3) years of experience professionally capturing video content.
Three (3) years of experience performing video post-production.
Experience with Daktronics show control.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
