Position will serve as an assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach, and in collaboration with the head coaches, help coordinate all aspects of the
program. Teach various courses in HPES as assigned.

This is a 10-month position that works August-May and is off during June and July.

Assistant Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach (60%)

• Serve as an assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach, and in collaboration with the head coach, help coordinate all aspects of the program;
• Attend practices, competitions, meetings, planning sessions, and other essential soccer-related activities;
• Assist the head coach in administration and management of the soccer programs as assigned;
• Actively participate in the recruitment and retainment of student-athletes
• Adhere to the rules, policies, and regulations established by Luther College, the American Rivers Conference (ARC), and the NCAA;
• Demonstrate a willingness to support the mission, the philosophy, and goals of Luther College, NCAA III, and ARC;
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head coaches.

Staff Instructor in HPES (24%)

• Teach activity courses in the HPES majors/minor
• Demonstrate ongoing professional growth and effectiveness as a teacher
• Exhibit the ability to inspire and mentor students
• Demonstrated concern for one's discipline in liberal education

Administration- Other Duties as Assigned by the Athletic Director (16%)

• Serve as on site event manager for winter and spring competitions and events
