Duties and Responsibilities The Assistant Coach will assist with all aspects of NCAA Division I Women’s Cross Country / Track & Field Program, including coaching of the throwing events, recruiting for those events, monitoring of student-athlete development and academic achievement, coordination of all ground transportation for away contests, compliance with NCAA, Conference and the University of Hawai’i rules & regulations, adherence to all University of Hawai’i and department policies & procedures as well as other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Design, implement and monitor training programs and workouts for the throwing events. Participate in practice sessions and provide instruction to the student-athletes from the basic fundamentals of technique to the advanced method
