The Drury University Department of Athletics invites applications in a national search for the position of Coordinator of Ticket Operations. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing ticket sales activities for athletics events and external events conducted in athletics facilities. This position is also responsible for assisting with marketing activities for all home NCAA sport competitions, coordinating special events and coordinating community engagement activities. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting with sponsorship fulfillment, promotions, development, graphic design and media relations activities of the athletics department. The individual may serve as a sport administrator and perform competition management duties for assigned sports. The position may also serve as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) liaison. The individual must have an athletics philosophy that values the educational and personal well-being of student-athletes while emphasizing the university and athletics department mission, vision, values and culture.

This is a full-time position with a full benefits package. Full-time benefits include tuition remission, health, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement and tax savings plans. Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred, with at least one year of experience in collegiate athletics administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules
Ability to operate ticketing software systems and equipment
Ability to execute payables/receivables and large-scale ticket sales
Ability to execute sports marketing, promotions, and development initiatives
Ability to manage competitions and events
Ability to perform athletics media relations tasks
Ability to plan and execute special events
Ability to create and edit digital and print graphics and copy
Strong public relations, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate public address, statistics, website, publishing, video and scoreboard systems
Ability to assist with soliciting individuals for donations
Sport administrator and competition management (for a variety of sports) skills and abilities
Attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the big picture
Strong organizational skills resulting in the ability to prioritize workload and regularly meet short-term deadlines
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with media members, sponsors, students, faculty, staff, donors and the general public
Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner
Ability to operate a computer, printer, applicable software and multi-function office machine (copy, scan, fax)
