The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) has an immediate full-time opening for an Assistant Director for Development. The position will provide support in all areas of Athletic Development for the Department.
The Assistant Director will serve as the NAAA liaison for the Women for Navy Athletics Committee and provide leadership and administrative support to the Committee on all initiatives including the annual reunion special event. Additionally, the Assistant Director will provide support to the NAAA Development team in the areas of special events, game-day hospitality, stewardship, communications, gift and donor parking processing, as well as select sport specific fundraising initiatives.
The Assistant Director for Development should have a high level of organization and attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a team setting, and follow through and complete tasks/projects in a timely manner. Applicants should have strong verbal and written communication skills with a concentration on customer service. The position must be able to work Navy home football games and other select weekends throughout the academic year.

• 1-3 years of experience within a college/university athletic development and/or advancement team setting • Experience working in donor databases including CRM and Salesforce • Experience in special events, hospitality, and donor stewardship • Knowledge and understanding of annual giving • Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
