The Director of Football Visual Media must be a creative leader who can translate recruiting, marketing and branding strategies into original visual art and related campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences, shape, enhance and protect the Baylor Athletics brand and image.
This position oversees and supervises the football creative team, leads creative concepts for the Baylor Football program, and serves as the department lead. Additionally, this position develops strategy, messaging, and creative vision for the program and social media accounts and is responsible for the planning and implementation of all creative content. The Director of Football Visual Media works closely with the football staff and in collaboration with other departments to ensure the Baylor brand is consistent across all mediums and social platforms.
A Bachelor's degree, two years of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Five years relevant work experience is preferred.
What You Will Do
Creative Direction: Assist in the direction of clear ideas and concepts in coordination with members of the football and all-sport creative teams. Ensure the direction of cohesive, brand-compliant initiatives that appeal to the target audience. Develop and lead a content strategy plan for social media platforms.
Content Generation: Help generate and execute creative content for football with static and motion graphics, photography and video assets for distribution on varying mediums and social platforms.
Communication. Maintain communication with student workforce, coaches and administration relative to creative content.
Compliance: Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.
