Texas A&M University – Kingsville is seeking one (1) Graduate Assistant –Academics & Compliance positions for a ten-month position renewable for one year for a total of two academic years. Start Date: August 1, 2021
The successful candidates will provide support in certification of all teams, NCAA education for coaches and staff, tracking of countable hours for each team (to include study table), coordination of all life skill sessions, priority registration for student-athletes, and overseeing SAAC.
Compensation for this position includes a tuition waiver up to 18 hours.
Students must meet criteria for admission to the College of Graduate Studies at TAMUK
Ability to work some evenings and weekends
Strong interest in teaching, mentoring and fostering the development of our student-athletes
Well-developed communication and problem solving skills
Positive and enthusiastic individual who is a team-player and willing to work with others
