Description of Role:

Clovis Crossfire Competitive competes in National and Regional Leagues including the Girls’ Academy, Elite Academy League and Nor Cal Premier Club is looking to recruit coaches to work throughout the Clovis Crossfire Competitive Program with 9-18 year old’s. The successful applicant will be an integral part of a growing the club membership and will help to deliver coaching sessions with primary focus on the youth development phase (U9-U18). Clovis Crossfire Competitive is looking for an individual who is highly motivated and passionate about working with and developing youth soccer players.

Applicants must have a minimum of a proven experience of working with elite junior soccer players. This is a full-time role, (4-5 Nights per week plus external hours and matches at weekend and various tournaments) which will include working outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends and during public holidays.

Salary To: $35,000 (Full Time)

Full Description:

 

  • Head Coach 2-3 teams within the Clovis Crossfire Competitive (U9-U13 age groups)
  • Design and execute training sessions that support the clubs Technical Framework
  • Conduct face-to-face in-season player evaluations according to program/club timelines and expectations for completion
  • Utilize technology to support player and team development
  • Be responsive to all communication (emails, phone calls, etc.) and maintain response-time expectations set by the Director of Soccer
  • Work directly with Youth Director, Director of Coaching and Methodology Area Department Head on program-wide player and team initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other coaches to identify opportunities for on and off-field development
  • Manage and execute all activities assigned and related to the Girls GA
  • Must be a positive role model both on and off the field
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned or earned based on candidate’s qualities, experience, and career goals

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • High Level Youth Coaching Experience preferred
  • USSF C License Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Education or related field
  • Applicants must be a US Citizen or currently have legal rights to work in the US
  • Proficiency in computer skills and video analysis 

Job Type Requirements:

 

  • Fulltime; salaried position
  • The traditional work hours for this job are combined office hours during the day/week along with evening and weekend hours on the field and at remote sites, but it is expected this person will work extra hours as needed to fulfill all job requirements

 

Work Environment/Travel/Physical Demands:

 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; run; kick; jump; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Most of this person’s job is conducted on the field and requires exposure during all seasons, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather, to fulfill job responsibilities and event support
  • Physical demands: bending, sitting, lifting, running, jumping, diving, and event set-up
