Head Women's Varsity Soccer Coach/Lecturer
Develop and manage all facets of a NCAA Division II women's soccer program to accomplish objectives of the sport within the guidelines of the Athletic Department, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and NCAA Division II rules, including, but not limited to: Academic excellence; Recruitment and retention of student-athletes; Skill development, instruction, and strategies to achieve competitive success; Budget and resource management; Prepare and report in a timely manner, particularly regarding athletic budget, eligibility, compliance and travel documentation; Scheduling of all competition and training; Select, supervise and evaluate assistant coaches; Alumni/community engagement; Coaching staff supervision; Conduct and Discipline; Sportsmanship; Compliance with principles and bylaws of the NCAA, Shepherd University, and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC); Commitment to student-athlete welfare and personal development and other job-related duties as assigned.
This position reports to the Vice President for Athletics and is a NCAA Division II intercollegiate soccer program in compliance with all NCAA, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and institutional rules and regulations.
Master's Degree and Intercollegiate Soccer coaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Health and Physical Education, Exercise Science, Public Administration or Business Administration; Head Coaching Experience with a minimum 2 years experience as a head coach
