The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant- Women’s Soccer Coach for the 2021-2022 term, with a potential renewal for 2022-2023.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Assist the head coach with player instruction and development including planning and supervision of practices, game planning and game day coaching, and player evaluation development
•Recruit and scout prospective student-athletes as directed by head coach
•Monitor eligibility status and promotion of academic progress for student athletes
•Develop and sustain relationships with other college and high school coaches
•Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University’s mission
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters’ program
•High level of organization and attention to detail
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior coaching experience at the Division I, II or III level including NAIA
•Effective communication skills; both orally and written
All graduate tuition and fees are waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition and fees, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
