The Athletic Department at Lewis University seeks a qualified individual to fill the Graduate Assistant, Tennis position. The Graduate Assistant will assist the Head coach in all aspects of the administration of the men’s and women’s tennis programs. The Graduate Assistant receives 100% of their graduate tuition for this position. Please note, the graduate assistant tuition benefit does not apply to the MS, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology programs. Lewis University is a Division II School located 25 miles SW of Chicago, in Romeoville, IL. We sponsor 18 intercollegiate varsity sports and compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (men's volleyball). As an individual employed in a coach capacity, you are subject to the regulations of the NCAA. If at any time it is determined that you are in violation of such regulations, then by the provision of the NCAA enforcement procedures, you may be subject to corrective disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with playing experience at the college level and the ability to communicate effectively within the educational philosophy of Lewis University is required. Graduate Assistants must also be enrolled in a Lewis University graduate program.
