University of Arkansas at Monticello Department of Athletics Graduate Assistant-Volleyball The University of Arkansas-Monticello, a Division II member of the Great American Conference, has a Graduate Assistant-Volleyball Coach position available beginning January 2021. The successful candidate will work the University of Arkansas at Monticello as a non-benefits eligible staff member and be granted time for graduate course work and class attendance. Responsibilities: The Graduate Assistant Volleyball Coach responsibilities include: assisting the head coach with all aspects of the Program including practice and game management; recruiting; hands on experience with player development; as well as other duties assigned by the head coach. Candidate must be a self- starter and highly motivated. Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree is required. Must be admitted or eligible for admission into an approved graduate program of study at an institution of choice. Successful playing experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Compensation: Tuition and fee payment (at the applicable pre-approved rate); monthly stipend of $500; private residential room w/private entrance; and 15 meals per week University meal plan. This is a non-benefits position on a nine-month schedule with maximum employment not to exceed two years.
