University of Charleston (W.Va.) is seeking one qualified applicant for the position of Women’s Tennis Graduate Assistant for the Spring 2021 – May 2022 academic year. The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver to complete their Master in Business Administration or in Leadership. This scholarship includes tuition, housing, a meal plan, and bi-weekly pay.
The Graduate Assistant will serve as the assistant to the Head Women’s Tennis Coach with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, in-match coaching, conducting practices and conditioning, recruiting, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, and other coaching and administrative duties under direction of the Head Coach.

The women’s tennis team has had players attend the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Cup and made its first appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2019. Charleston women's tennis is very successful in the Mountain East Conference and the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region – repeatedly placing in the top of both. It is our goal to maintain these accomplishments and to attend the National Championships, while also creating enjoyable and memorable experiences for each team member.

· A bachelor’s degree and can be fully admitted into one of the graduate programs.
· Playing experience and accolades at the NCAA Division I or II levels.
· Good character, motivated, disciplined, and organized.
· Has some expertise in tennis drills and fitness workouts.
· Is committed to improving and enhancing the team’s performance
· Ability to maintain the required academic grades.
