Waldorf University is a 4-year private college offering 20 bachelor degree programs in a variety of popular fields both residential and hybrid online.
Waldorf has upheld the Lutheran tradition of excellence in higher education since the college was founded in 1903. This tradition values service to the community, academic excellence, freedom of inquiry, a liberating education, and learning through the exchange of ideas in open conversation.
In January 2010 Waldorf University came under the ownership of Mayes Education, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Columbia Southern University. This relationship has allowed Waldorf to reach new students through distance education programs as well as strengthen its residential programs.
