Concord University seeks qualified candidates for a Graduate Assistant position in the Softball program with an August 2017 start date. This position is responsible to assist with recruiting, game planning and all aspects of the Division II softball program in compliance with all NCAA, MEC Conference and institutional rules and regulations.
A successful candidate will be a positive role model to our student-athletes on and off the field and exhibit strong leadership and strive to develop those leadership capabilities within our student-athletes. Responsibilities also include monitoring and assisting student-athletes with academic success, effectively recruiting quality student-athletes, and assisting the head coach with any/all aspects of the program. Full tuition remission and a competitive stipend is offered. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Acceptance into Concord University Graduate Program
Coaching or Playing Experience at the Collegiate level
Experienced in weight training preferred, but not required
Experienced in pitching at a Collegiate level prefered, but not required
Additional Salary Information: Full tuition waiver with $8,500.00/yr stipend with a 10 month contract renewable for 2nd year.
