Elon University is currently accepting applications for an Elon Academy Assistant Director of Student Life and Senior Scholar Support. The Elon Academy is a non-profit college access and success program located at Elon University in Alamance County, NC. This highly selective program recruits academically promising high school students with financial need and/or no family history of college. The Academy is a multi-year, year round program beginning in the summer after the ninth grade and continuing to and through college. Responsibilities include: plan and oversee non-academic aspects of the high school summer residential program; recruit, select, train, supervise, and assess summer mentors; assist with coordination of the Transitions to College and College Success Programs. The person in this positions works with students across all phases of the Elon Academy program; however, particular emphasis is with high school seniors and college students.
