Under minimal supervision, responsible for the operation of services related to the multimedia and visualization arena. Ensures client expectations are meet through the preproduction, production, and postproductions phases of projects. Manages full-cycle production of videos. Develops concept, design and/or narratives for projects. Collaborates with a team of developers, designers, and strategists to ensure that the final product is consistent with the client's vision, budget and timeline. Determines the appropriate form of media through scripting, storyboarding, budgeting and setting deadlines. Shoots video, creates graphics and records voice-overs. Edits and delivers a finalized end product.
This position may be required to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Oversee the motion design area of the creative development department Work collaboratively with the graphic design and video team on projects for social & digital needs of the department Innovate our videoboard and motion graphics content across our 20 athletics programs. Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, providing feedback and insight in the area of design and content generation. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Visual Arts, Sports Management or related field. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills required. One or more years of professional experience in motion graphic design. Ability to challenge the status quo while still maintaining the integrity of a brand. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Two or more years of experience in intercollegiate athletics. Two or more years of professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite. One or more years of experience with videoboard production.
