•Directing all aspects of the coaching and management of the women's volleyball team •Coaching in games and practices •Working with Strength & Conditioning Coach to manage the team's strength and conditioning program •Managing the team budget and fundraising •Supporting the academic and personal development of all athletes •Hiring and supervising an assistant coach •Arranging official and unofficial campus visits for prospective student-athletes
A minimum of 2 years coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
Strong commitment to the overall development of the student-athlete and the mission of the College
Demonstrated coaching success and ability to inspire student-athletes to develop to their fullest potential
High level of personal integrity; high standard for personal conduct and work ethic
Outstanding organizational and communication skills
Commitment to the NCAA rules and regulations as well as SMC policies
Must sustain current certification in CPR and First Aid
Valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass driving record check.
