General Manager directly overseeing daily operation of the Strength and Conditioning Department. Design, write, implement, analyze and evaluate year round strength and conditioning programs for all members of the University’s 18 Intercollegiate Athletic teams. Monitor and manage daily operation of the athletic fitness center.
Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities • Responsible for designing, organizing and executing year-round sport-specific strength, conditioning, speed and flexibility programs for all intercollegiate athletic programs. • Manages daily upkeep of the Sebo Athletic Center Weight Room and purchase the equipment located in it. • Designs and implements injury rehabilitation programs for injured student-athletes in conjunction with the Sports Medicine Staff. • Direct all fiscal responsibilities: equipment budget and professional development. • Researches and analyzes new trends, philosophies and techniques in the areas of strength training, conditioning and flexibility practices, as well as new equipment in the strength and conditioning field. • Supervises, manages, evaluates and hires all staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health, Exercise Physiology or related field is required. Master’s Degree is preferred in exercise physiology or related field. Successful candidate must have degree conferred at the time of application. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with the university’s vehicle use policy.
The following experience is required:
A minimum of three years strength and conditioning experience at the collegiate level or higher
A minimum of three years managing a fitness center used by groups and individuals
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations
CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) from the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) or the SCCC (Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified) from the CSCCA (Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association)
Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR.
