The Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Tennis works with the Head Coach to teach the skills necessary for a successful athletics program. The Assistant Coach assists in team practices, opposing team scouts, and game day preparations. The Assistant Coach assists in the evaluation and recruitment of qualified prospective student athletes. The Assistant Coach complies with all NCAA, NEWMAC and Wheaton College rules and regulations, and helps to ensure that all student athletes do the same.

• Current and valid driver’s license. • Must possess the skills and knowledge to be able to teach and demonstrate all aspects of the sport. • Knowledge of NCAA, NEWMAC and Wheaton College rules and regulations. • Ability to work independently. • Ability to work evenings and weekends to accomplish the tasks necessary for success in this field. • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally to find prospective student athletes. • Successful completion of Wheaton’s College Van License A, and ability to transport teams by College van as needed. • Bachelor’s degree and collegiate playing experience preferred.
