The University of Jamestown is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach position with its Cross Country/Track and Field programs. The position will begin either January or August of 2019. The successful candidate will report to the Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field Coaches and will assist with various administrative and coaching aspects of the program, including but not limited to: coaching, recruiting, and fundraising.

Compensation Information: Full tuition and the Block 150 Meal Plan (150 meals + $225 Jimmie Bucks per semester) are covered with UJ’s Graduate Assistant Program.
Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a graduate program is required. The preferred candidate should have competed in track & field and/or cross country collegiately, with strength and conditioning and additional coaching experience as a plus. Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and the capacity to model mature, responsible leadership. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays and travel with the team to competitions.
