Xavier University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, seeks applications for a full-time Athletic Equipment/Apparel Manager. This position oversees all aspects related to equipment and apparel for Xavier University’s 18 Division I sports.
Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
•Ensure that all sports are properly outfitted with fully functioning equipment and appropriate apparel
•Demonstrate fiscal responsibility
•Comply with all NCAA, Big East and Xavier rules and regulations surrounding equipment and apparel
•Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures for all aspects of equipment and apparel
•Develop working relationships with all Coaches, Athletics
Compliance, Athletic Training, Strength & Conditioning and Sport Liaisons to facilitate efficient and effective functioning of this area, including contracts with providers of equipment and apparel
Required Qualifications and Skills:
•Proficient computer skills including Excel spreadsheets and word processing
•Minimum of one to three years of relevant work experience
•Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
