Belmont University is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Tennis Coach. Under the supervision of the Director of Tennis, this individual will assist with coaching duties for the University’s NCAA Division 1 Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs in such a manner as to build and maintain a competitive, quality program that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the University at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with individual and team practices for both the men’s and women’s programs; coaching at competitions for both teams; assisting with recruiting efforts; assisting with various operational and administrative aspects of the tennis program; and, knowing and abiding by all NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference, and University rules and regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; one to three years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. The ideal candidate will have experience playing or coaching highly competitive tennis, preferably at the NCAA Division 1 level.
