McDaniel College, a private, Liberal Arts College located 30 miles northwest of Baltimore and 55 miles north of Washington, seeks applicants for a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Sports Medicine. Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer, the Graduate Assistant is responsible for supporting the student-athletes in athletic training for our 24 intercollegiate athletics teams. The position would be primarily responsible for delivering care for student-athletes under the direction of the head athletic trainer, implementing emergency medical procedures, and working with other athletic trainers and coaches. The Graduate Assistant would also assist in coverage of home and away athletic contests. Other duties may be assigned by the head athletic trainer.
NATA Certification, previous experience in a sports medicine in a college athletics environment and/or athletic training experience in a clinical setting is required. Bachelor's degree required.
