Support the Head Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach in executing all responsibilities in a manner that reflects an ongoing commitment to the excellence, integrity and success of the Men's and Women's Track & Field program, the Athletic Department, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Provide leadership for the teams. Establish coaching strategies and teaching methods to develop student-athlete's skills and teamwork. Analyze team performance and adjust strategies as needed. Oversee recruitment of student-athletes. Develop policies and procedures for student-athletes and coaching staff. Develop strategies to foster athletic and academic progress of student-athletes. May perform marketing or public relations duties to promote program. Must be committed to the compliance process and adhere to University, NCAA and Sun Belt Conference rules and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree (Master preferred) from a regionally accredited institution required. Collegiate coaching experience preferred.
